because life at university
goes far beyond the resume

it's not just a podcast (seriously!)
It is possible to imagine an even better university, where we can research, create and seek solutions to the complexities of society and the planet. And dreaming about this reality requires discussing today's challenges.
And HA is not just a podcast, we also want to promote listening clubs: spaces for students, researchers and teachers to create support networks and discuss the challenges of their contexts using the resources we prepare for each episode as support.
about the project
the right to education must be accompanied by the right to healthy and quality dynamics in academic life
Through episodes with insights from students, professors, psychologists and professionals from different Latin American countries, we seek to inspire new ways of experiencing university with balance and purpose, considering the human being in an integral way.
resources
In addition to the dialogue guides, some episodes will have extra resources, such as time management materials, a test to identify your strongest virtues, and also bios with contact details for each episode's contributors.
You may have never led a discussion group, which is why we have put together this resource to help you prepare for that moment.

"Change the university and you change the world."
Charles Habib Malik

practical tools
It's not just a podcast
Okay, we know everyone says "it's more than just a podcast blahblahblah", but the point is that our project goes beyond what is covered in the episodes, because that would limit us. Homo academicus relies on your interaction with the questions in the dialogue guide to bring the conversation into context, taking advantage of the resources available and the bonds formed in the listening clubs.

practical tools
We don't want to just stick to theory, so with the support of several contributors, each episode brings a practical aspect — personal, community-based, and also with socio-political provocations to meet the situations we face today. And, of course, you can also find the resources for each episode here on the website.

a latin american contribution
Our team is made up of people from Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Mexico, and also includes volunteers from Peru, Ecuador and other latitudes. Although our region is immense and complex, we realize that many experiences are shared among the countries in the Global South. That is why we offer our work in Portuguese, Spanish and English, which is also an excellent tool for foreign language conversation clubs.
